Checking Under The Hood
It used to be that at gas stations, you could get full service. You\u2019d get your gas pumped and you\u2019d learn about the fluid levels in your car. That doesn\u2019t happen much any more and what\u2019s true is that we don\u2019t pay much attention until we get a service notice or until something goes wrong. Even then, we need to take action to get checked out or to get rejuvenated. And that means, drawing from that analogy, that you need to take action to take care of yourself. Put \u201cget-away\u201d days on your calendar every couple of months. Check in with yourself about your relationships, your finances, your career, and your philanthropy.
