Slips, Trips, and Falls OHS 138

Having one hand changes my perspective on many things. It even changes things most two handed people do not think about in the way I do. Taking a fall is one of them. The way I fall and how I think about taking a fall has a one handed overtone. This has come from a life filled with taking some pretty hard fall. Spending my life on a bicycle and devoting a number of years up on the slopes snowboarding has offered me the experience of engaging in some pretty bone shattering falls. It also allowed me to contemplate what it means to "take a fall" with my one handed body. How I trip, stumble, and fall has such a one-handed quality. I have spent many an hour talking to people about it and sharing my point of view. Especially after speaking to people with broken hands, wrists, forearms, and elbows. This podcast is simply about my perception regarding taking my slips, trips, and falls in a way that protects my hand.\n\nThanks for listening!
