Email address: SHOW NOTES INTRODUCING SOPHIA REAVLEY!  The FFA is a big commitment for any student, but what about for a student with interests outside of agriculture?  This can become a big challenge.  It is no surprise that the outgoing students who choose to participate in the FFA are outgoing in others ways as well.  And, it is also no surprise that they are up to the challenge! Today's guest, Sophia Reavley, talks with us about how she handled all of the clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities in school in addition to being in the FFA.  Sophia became her chapter's vice-president, and she won a state proficiency award in veterinary science.  So, she had to be really careful with her time. Sophia gives a great piece of advice in this episode.  She talks about prioritizing her activities.  While she was a part of other clubs, she did not take leadership roles.  She prioritized school first and the FFA second during high school.  So, by not taking leadership roles in the other clubs, it allowed her to achieve everything she wanted to do in the FFA. REASONS TO DONATE TO FFA: Only 2% of Americans grow and raise most of the food and livestock consumed by the other 98% as well as the rest of the world.  FFA is providing the needed education, training and resources to Americans that will carry that torch forward and insure that America continues to have inexpensive, quality food. Rural Communities will rely on entrepreneurship in the future for population growth and job creation.  The FFA is a major catalyst to that entrepreneurial growth.
