An Arlington everettpost.com and KRKO radio listener found a strange package in their backyard and asked what it is and what to do with it. This is part one of two addressing what the listener found - a weather balloon instrument package - what to do with it and what are weather balloons. Part 2 - coming soon - will describe what data the instrument package collects and how that data is used by meteorologists.
