#036 NJR hosts Simpler Times
Simpler Times is a british-italian duo, spawning from a small town of the north of Italy up to the british Manchester midlands, through the imperial Vienna and the rebel Barcelona. From the ashes of previous musical projects, after having fiddled with many different genres, Timothy (voice) and Matteo (music) found their creative spot in Synthwave, Outrun and Vaporwave. Worshipping bands like The Midnight, artists like Kavinsky and Pet Shop Boys, movements like the Vaporwave one, they couldn't end up in any place but this. Simpler Times paint on a wave-shaped canvas the sound of nostalgia, future and dystopia. Strongly influenced by movies like Blade Runner and Asimov's books, the duo recreates those atmospheres through their dark, impactful sound.
