How to impact on a global scale + UNESCO Creative Cities

For those of us who are driven to make an impact - whatever impact that may be - and want to move from local to global, it's not easy finding the pathway to get there.

This week Manawa catches up with new friend Beck Pearce who is the Associate Director of Programming at the Adelaide Festival Centre AND the Director of the 'Office of Adelaide UNESCO City of Music'.  Manawa met Beck two weeks ago at the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Creative Cities Conference (APCCC) in Adelaide, where Manawa was one of the panel speakers, and Beck the overall conference BOSS LADY.

\n

They chat about what UNESCO is (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation) and how Beck uses the UN platform and network to put Adelaide's creativity on the world stage, why they decided to run the first APCCC, how they pulled it off, and her tips for those of you wanting to move your impact from local to global.

Thanks so much Beck and the Adelaide Festival Centre team!
