Often times, in today's society, "winning" an argument is defined as exposing the counterargument to be wrong and commonly results in severing the relationship. After sitting down with Dr. Jill TeDemple,\xa0professor of religious studies at SMU, we learned that actually "winning" an argument means seeking to understand, hearing both sides of the argument and being curious about people's beliefs.
