Interview With To Kill A Tiger Director Nisha Pahuja

"To Kill A Tiger" had its world premiere at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival (where it won the juried prize for Best Canadian Film) and then premiered in the U.S. at the Lighthouse International Film Festival in the summer of 2023. Since then, it laid quiet, garnering a few nominations and mentions throughout the awards season, and then shocked everyone when it received the Oscar nomination for Best Documentary Feature Film. Writer, director, and producer Nisha Pahuja was kind enough to spend a few minutes with us after her nomination, talking about her experience making the film, how it came to be, what she wants to do next, and more. Please be sure to check out the film, which is up for your consideration at this year's Academy Awards for Best Documentary Feature Film.
