Thirty-five years ago, James Gilbert\u2019s book was named a notable book of the year by The New York Times. That was for a book on history by the noted historian. Now he is at it again, this time with a suspenseful thriller that reveals a murder mystery that will keep readers guessing \u2013 and on the edge of their seats.
