Making the setting of a book a character can be one of the best storytelling assets for writers. Just ask Matty Dalrymple. She is the author of the Ann Kinnear Suspense Novels and Suspense Shorts and the Lizzy Ballard Thrillers. She lives in Chester County, Pennsylvania, and enjoys vacationing on Mount Desert Island, Maine, and Sedona, Arizona, and these locations provide the settings for her work. Today we will talk about that sense of place in her work and much more.
\nMatty is a member of Sisters in Crime and the Brandywine Valley Writers Group. Matty also podcasts, writes, and speaks on the writing craft and the publishing voyage as The Indy Author, and is a member of the Alliance of Independent Authors.
