Building slowly in intensity and tempo from chilled, lo-fi dubs through 80's soul, electro, tribal and garage influences into a full blooded 124 BPM eclectic Deep House Mix. I have deliberately tried to select a diverse range of material for this production and programmed a gradual ascent and blended mix style. I wanted the mood to be soulful and smooth yet still quite uplifting and ended up with quite a few Piano, Brass and Synth elements.. There are a few big tunes in there from TenSnake, Omar/Stevie and DJ Le Roi that I have wanted to include in a mix for a while, and they gave me a good foundation for the overall tone of the mix. The last tune, G-Pal's 'Life', Omar and Le Roi are my faves, really nice combinations of dirty chords and melodic keys, with strong driving grooves.
