Author Robert J. Dvorchak interacted with all branches of the service during the deployment and was more than assigned to or embedded with the troops. He actually joined the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division (The All-Americans) to live with paratroopers prior to and during their invasion of Iraq.
Drive On is real and raw, just like war, and has been critically acclaimed by the Airborne infantry the author writes about. Soe of those grunts with wings on their chest call him brother because he faced the same dangers and lived under the same Spartan conditions as they did.
Drive On Part of the proceeds for "Drive On" goes to www.tactical16.com, Tactical16 is a publishing company that encourages veterans to tell their story through writing, in order to deal with after effects of war and help with the effects of PTSD.
"Tactical" is symbolic of military service and "16" is symbolic of the number of acres of the World Trade Center Site effected by 9/11.
