My name is blkmamba from Toronto, Canada. I’m 26 and as my name suggests, I was inspired by the late great Kobe Bean Bryant. Growing up, music and basketball were always prevalent in my home, so when I became more serious about my music about 5 years ago in college, I chose the name blkmamba as an homage to my idol and his mantra, Mamba Mentality. With this mix, I decided to focus on artists hailing from the great city of Toronto and its surrounding areas to show that our culture is vastly diverse and a true melting pot for artistic creativity.
