One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them

In ancient times the Rings of Power were crafted by the Elven-smiths, and Sauron, the Dark Lord, forged the One Ring, filling it with his own power so that he could rule all others. But the One Ring was taken from him, and though he sought it throughout Middle-earth, it remained lost to him. After many ages it fell into the hands of Bilbo Baggins, as told in The Hobbit. In a sleepy village in the Shire, young Frodo Baggins finds himself faced with an immense task, as his elderly cousin Bilbo entrusts the Ring to his care. Frodo must leave his home and make a perilous journey across Middle-earth to the Cracks of Doom, there to destroy the Ring and foil the Dark Lord in his evil purpose.

** Well the school district I work at is Remote for a while due to a case of COVID. This has given me a chance to sit down & create a hopefully manageable schedule for getting a podcast out regularly again. I am going to start aiming for Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday as my "Podcast Posting" days. I feel like that's doable. I also feel strongly that I'm going to take a break from Lord of the Rings after the Fellowship of the Ring. This is for a couple of reasons... this was originally for my students, more specifically Elementary students. As amazing as the Lord of the Rings trilogy is, I feel like they get a little serious & heavy. My second reason is because the length of these chapters are making this a less than enjoyable task for me, hence the far & few between posts in the past couple of months. However, that doesn't mean I won't come back to them & finish them... I just my break them up with other books. So once I'm finished with the Fellowship of the Ring I will take a short break from the trilogy & read a stand alone book. I'm sorry if this isn't ideal, I just need to break up the dry spell that some of these chapters have put me in. With all that being said, I hope to get back into my posting groove!**
