As most of you know, a huge issue parents currently face is a sharp increase in screen time for children. In fact, a recent\xa0study by JAMA Pediatrics\xa0found that children\u2019s recreational use of screens (not including time spent online for virtual classes) nearly doubled during the pandemic. Moreover, the study linked higher screen usage to poorer mental health and greater stress among teens. Anna shares how play benefits parents, what play really means (how science defines play), importance of multi-generational play and more\u2026\n-------------------------------\nShow Notes for EP230: Simple Ways to Encourage More Play\nEnjoy this Podcast?\nPost a review and share it!\xa0If you enjoyed tuning into this podcast, then do not hesitate to write a review.
