My guest today is Matt Kepnes, an American travel blogger. Kepnes was born in Boston. At 23, he had never left the United States but in 2005 he took a trip to Thailand. The trip convinced Kepnes to quit his job, finish his MBA, and begin traveling the world and blogging about his experiences.

The topic is his book\xa0Ten Years a Nomad.

• After meeting some travelers on a trip to Thailand in 2005, he realized that living life meant more than simply meeting society\u2019s traditional milestones, such as buying a car, paying a mortgage, and moving up the career ladder. Inspired by them, he set off for a year-long trip around the world before he started his career. He finally came home after ten years.
