Improving feed efficiency is sustainable

The word \u201csustainability\u201d doesn\u2019t need any introduction \u2013 trying to do more with less is on everybody\u2019s mind. Making that happening, however, is easier said than done. During his many years at R&D with animal nutrition company Nutreco as well as in his role as professor at Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands, Leo den Hartog never stopped asking how the industry could achieve a better feed efficiency. He is optimistic there are still many things the industry can do to only do a better job in the future.
