TikTok has become too big and too popular to ignore. Where it will be 12 months from now, no one knows. But what I do know, is if you claim to be a marketer, and you pride yourself on how "up on technology" you are, then you need to at least have a TikTok account, and spend a few minutes watching and learning how it's being used.
