What Fed rate decisions look like during election years

Today, the Federal Reserve will announce what it will do with the interest rates that steer the economy. It’ll cut them \u2014 that’s almost certain, but the question is how aggressively. The Fed is independent. Fed Chairs generally refuse to get dragged into politics, though their decisions can be politicized. We’ll look at the politics of rate decisions. Then, we’ll examine why Patagonia encourages its employees to get political.
