CHIPOTLE SELLS THE SAME THING EVERY DAY.

It would be weird if tomorrow they sold sushi instead of burritos bowls.

Their stores look the same.

It would be weird if tomorrow it looked like a McDonalds.

This is what the Chipotle tribe has come to expect from Chipotle. There’s an expectation that the next time they choose to come to Chipotle that they’ll get what they’ve come to admire about Chipotle.

Yet in our own marketing we think we’ve said the same thing too many times. We think “I’ve said this before” or “who wants to hear me talk about this again?!”.

And in going all over the place because you’re insecure or bored, you confuse the people who’ve come to admire you for the content you so powerfully had delivered.
