Taking tips

\n

Everyone, especially as of late, is looking for the next big score.

\n

The advent of investing apps and low to no commissions has flooded the market with people wanting to make a quick profit.

\n

Profit is not bad and tips are not bad. Inherently

\n

It is only when desire for profit leads to blind tip taking

\n

The mind will then start to create a reason for the tip. False support for the action.

\n

It\u2019s a drug. It\u2019s exciting. IT\u2019S GAMBLING.

\n

Research is golden.

\n

Like I said before, tips aren\u2019t inherently bad. Blindly taking them is.

\n

If in your research or educational journey, someone you follow shares insight on an opportunity or shares their watchlist\u2026.RESEARCH

\n

Why? If you take Bob\u2019s tip to buy or sell, now you\u2019re trading/investing based on Bob\u2019s style. Which means if Bob isn\u2019t there, what do you do?

\n

Similarly, if you\u2019re trading based on a discord group, Facebook group, or a Motley Fool type service..what happens when you don\u2019t have them.

\n

What if Bob didn\u2019t even research but instead got a tip from someone else. Now you\u2019ve gotten a tip from a tip. Who was the original source and what did they see? What was their reason for telling Bob?
