Welcome to the Market Adventures Podcast where I believe everyone should be able to participate and secure their future using the stock market \u2013 so I build simplified content to empower and enrich everyone. My name is Alex Cunningham and we live in a society where financial education is not prioritized. Financial freedom can mean something different for each of us and, not surprisingly, there are many different vehicles one can use to get there. It's important to understand who you are and what you want when deciding which vehicle is right for you. The stock market is a great vehicle for those who want freedom from the physical and social burdens of traditional business.

In this episode, we're going to go through the 5 laws of money as described in the book "Richest Man In Babylon".

5 laws of gold. For modern times, we can replace gold with money

• Money comes to those who will save at least 10% of all they earn

• The amount of money you have will grow if you find a profitable use for the money you have\n

  • I.e, smart investments
  \n
  \n

• You\u2019re less likely to lose money if you invest it under the advice of people who know what they\u2019re doing\n
  \n
  • Through experience, not books and stories
  \n
  \n
\n
• You will lose money trying to do things you\u2019re not familiar with or things that those who have experience would advise you not to do
\n
• You will also lose money if you try to force your money to grow too quickly, if you let yourself get tricked or scammed, or if you don\u2019t seek advice and try to do it yourself without the experience
