Do you know autumn?.. \n[it's for the strong]\nAutumn knows where to hit \nand to go...\nAutumn sees through the coat \nand sweater \nFall knows you all \nYour every millimeter...\nIt's something hidden in your chest...\nand what is hidden in the rib cage\nlike notes between the strings of a guitar,\nFall deftly picks up with a fingernail \nand whispers with a sneer: oh, here you are...\nIf summer is the flight of the spread winds\nThe autumn throws straight to the abyss, \nRain plunging into your palms with no hints \nyou wander blindly in the dark \nand know that here it is...\nor still come up with a strange way to kindle\na fire... [at least just for a while]\nWhile someone's gathering the splinters\nAnother's looking for a shard of light\nin houses and souls there is delight \nthat warm them in the severest of winters.\n[Someone will buy themselves a lamp \nand will immediately be delighted]\nSomeone will strike with just one match... \nNo light is needed in the fall,\nAll after all, there is no fire warmer \nthan a single touch.
