Episode 111 My Mentor LOVED Rocks
What's up, LifeRs!!!
Thanks for joining me today!!! SO glad to have you here. My mentor loved rocks and I know you must be thinking, "That that is a little weird" but I am so fortunate to have been trained by some amazing people and this mentor really changed my life and helped me out. I went to college on a dance scholarship but I really wanted nothing to do with the academic world once I graduated and I told myself that I would never read another book again. This mentor came into my life when I started teaching her dance but she ended up teaching me.
The one thing that really struck me when she was talking to me at one point was that, despite being a very successful woman, she was going to school to finish up her Master's Degree in geology. She was very passionate about this subject and shared with me tons of information about rocks. She was so passionate and I learned so much from her sharing her passion with me.
