Post Traumatic Nightmare

On March 16th of 2005, a man wearing a military uniform was discovered wandering just outside the borders of New Victoria.  The man was quickly quarantined, like the city he came from, and it was later discovered that he was part of one of several military units sent into New Victoria during its evacuation in 1993.  The men and women of the man's platoon were thought to have died during the chaos of the mass exit. 

After being quarantined, the soldier was monitored for four days until, upon the morning of the fifth day, he was found dead - he had died in his sleep.  The following content was written in a journal he was given for the purpose of writing down what he remembered.  It was his only entry.
