It\u2019s the final chapter of our 2023 Ladies Special, and we\u2019re featuring Bhojpuri folk artist Nimisha Shankar. She chats to Mae about how learning classical music as a child wasn\u2019t something that interested her as much as singing folk music, interacting with Bhojpuri-speaking people from over 16 countries, and setting up Recalling Roots, a project that brings together musical & cultural identities from around the world.
