On the couch with Leah Tshotwana
A new Junior City Council (JCC) Executive Committee was recently elected, basically the youthful version of the City Council. The JCC was established as a forum for high school learners from Grade 10 to 11 to broaden their knowledge of local government, with special reference to municipal matters; in order for them to understand the scope and extent of the functions performed by local authorities.
Leah Tshotwana is the new Junior Mayor.
