It’s a day of great celebrations in Mitchells Plain today as the community formally welcomes the development of a new art centre at Portlands Primary School, by showcasing the work of some of its young artists. The centre is the result of a 7-year effort by community activist Mark Jeneker, to bring creative education to the local kids. It has been made possible through collaboration with the NGO Baz Art.
