Lots to talk about from last night’s Carte Blanche show but the segment that really stood out for me was the one following a team of doctors through a weekend night shift at the Mitchells Plain Hospital. We’re all acutely aware of how many doctors are struggling with burnout due to the chronic under-staffing issues in our public sector – but to witness first hand what their job entails on an average evening, was pretty scary.
