OTTOLENGHI
What a treat to be able to share with you a new cookbook from one of the world’s most acclaimed and influential chefs, a man who has built a food empire since the early days of opening his first delicatessen in London.
The name Yotam Ottolenghi is synonymous with clean, fresh flavours that sing of his Middle Eastern upbringing, and for plates that can elevate even the most humble vegetable into a work of food art. Not only has he published multiple best-selling cookbooks, he has also set up the Ottolenghi Test Kitchen where his team continuously tests, refines and creates new dishes for his 7 resturants and deli outlets.
The latest cookbook is a product of that test kitchen, written in tandem with chef Noor Murad who heads up the team there. It’s called Extra Good Things and it is a celebration of the little something extra that lifts a dish from merely good to great. Think amazing sauces, pickles, sprinkles and salsas, and you’re on the right page. The book offers a collection of over 70 of these, with recipes featuring them across sweet and savoury dishes
