Lifestyle: Food - Magnificent Barista Boys
In the last decade, the coffee culture has grown across South Africa, particularly in the Mother City which is bursting at the seams with cafés and restaurants offering some of the best coffee around.
In 2013, The Magnificent Barista Boys (MBB) was founded by partners Stephan and Kim Brits along with entrepreneur Francois Laurence. The MBB journey began with Stephan, who started his coffee journey in 2006 working at one of Cape Town’s renowned coffee companies, developing an in-depth knowledge into the complex coffee industry.
As an award-winning barista, he developed his own range of artisanal coffee products with the original medium roast being the flagship product that started their journey.
His wife Kim, and Francois Laurence then came on board and the The Magnificent Barista Boys was born in 2013. Today, the Magnificent Barista Boys offers a wide range of artisanal coffee and tea products which are available through their online store as well as @ home stores nationwide.
