It’s my great pleasure to welcome back Richard Arm who is the resident horticulturist at Vergelegen estate in Somerset West. While we’ve kept you abreast of their restaurant news, it’s been a while since we reflected on their beautiful gardens, and what better time to do so than when the camellias are in bloom. Vergelegen is home to Africa’s only International Camellia Garden of Excellence, and right now is the absolute peak viewing time to enjoy it at its very best.
