Spiritual Perfectionism vs Maturity

Published: Sept. 5, 2021, 10 a.m.

The difference between spiritual perfectionism and spiritual maturity is a letting go of attachment to "having it all together" and being perfectly happy, and an understanding that "darker emotions" (anger, fear, sadness) aren\u2019t bad but are a part of the human experience to be embraced.

Through daily practice, emotional continence is possible, where you can hold space for yourself and other\u2019s emotional bodies, in all colors of the rainbow, free from judgment, denial, and suppression.

In this podcast, Chantelle Raven shares her personal journey of transitioning from spiritual perfectionism to spiritual maturity. This episode includes:

  • The common phases and pitfalls of the spiritual path
  • How to release attachment to spiritual ideals and move toward spiritual maturity
  • How to bring consciousness to the primal body, while also remaining embodied
  • The development of awareness as a key tool to not get swept up in the emotional or trauma body\xa0
