Philippians --- Philippians 2:12-18 Nationwide protests and demonstrations this past week have shown that thousands of voices demand a change in how this country understands justice. We return to Philippians where Paul lays out a Christian's responsibility in an uncertain world. We have to understand that though our salvation is not earned with works, it absolutely compels work from us, particularly for the sake of justice. We are called to be a shining example of love, especially in our darkest nights. Empty symbolism and ritual without obvious action will change nothing.
