The Future of Love --- Matthew 6:25-34 Believe it or not, today Matt goes in front of a community of college students, professionals, homeless, and parents repeating Jesus' words to not worry. Jesus commands to seek first the Kingdom of God and not to concern ourselves with tomorrow. It's a challenge that gets more unimaginable every day as anxiety statistics in our country rise exponentially. But take heart in the truth of Christ's humanity, especially from the scared man who sweat blood in dread during the hours before his arrest. Worry and anxiety comes to everyone, and Jesus' sermon doesn't trivialize this nor calls to ignore it outright. If we put our trust in God and God's Kingdom, we can lay these worries at the feet of the King. That is where redemption is found...even if relief is not.
