\nBryan Vogt here! If you think of cities in the metro-east as one big family, then Fairview Heights is the baby that surprised Mom and Dad later in life. Residents didn\u2019t vote to incorporate until 1969. Compared to Cahokia in 1778, 1814 for Belleville and 1839 for Caseyville. Fairview was late to the party. However, they made up for that in a big way when Fairview Heights gave birth in 1974 to the largest mall in southern Illinois. St Clair Mall. And they haven't looked back since!
\nThere are tons of reasons why people flock to live in Fairview, but I have whittled it down to the top three! And here they are!
\n1. The Rec in Fairview Heights. This state-of-the-art facility has anything and everything for the entire family. From amazing swimming pools, rock climbing, fantastic play areas for kids, running and walking tracks and so much more. This incredible facility is very reasonably priced to start with. But as a Fairview Heights resident, it\u2019s even more affordable if that\u2019s possible!
\n2. Terrific subdivisions for families to live in! Fairview has some of the best homes to choose from in the entire area. Having helped countless buyers purchase homes in such subdivisions as the Fountains Ashland Meadows and the amazing golfing community Stonewolf. Whose golf course was designed by the Golden Bear himself Jack Nicklaus If your looking for fine living then Fairview has you covered!
\n3. The parks Such as Long acre Park. This 90-acre park is considered one of the true gems of the entire area! It has lighted Sand Volleyball and Tennis Courts, playgrounds, lighted Baseball and Softball Fields with grandstands. It has Soccer Fields, Walking and Running Paths a pavilion for large family get-togethers Large Lake, a dog park and so much more! Making it one of the premier parks in the entire metro-east!
\nOf course, these are just three great reasons to live in Fairview. We haven\u2019t even mentioned its central location right next to Interstate 64 makes taking in a Cards or Blues game a breeze!
