This week, we\u2019re discussing Chasm by Stacey McEwan. The start of this book sees Dawsyn Sabar, former resident of the Ledge and attempted savior of the Ledge folk, awaiting her end as prisoner of the queen\u2019s of Terrsaw, mourning the loss of her lover and friend Ryon, while also struggling with her feelings of anger and betrayal after his actions at the end of the previous book. A harrowing rescue attempt saves Dawsyn from execution and she works with her friends, new and old, to secure a future for the people of the Ledge and rebuild broke relationships.
