#22 - Whitacre Award winners: Emotional stories in their own words
Winning the Whitacre Award, AT&T\u2019s highest award, is an emotional experience \u2013 this year, perhaps more so than ever. \n\nThis year, we honored 32 Whitacre Award winners. That\u2019s the largest number of winners we\u2019ve ever had. \n\nThese winners went to heroic lengths to provide service \u2013 or avert disaster \u2013 during the difficult days following one of the several natural disasters we experienced in 2017.\n\nIn this episode, some of this year\u2019s winners tell us incredible and emotional stories of the actions that led to them winning this year\u2019s award.
