200: Sarah and Friends

Published: May 24, 2021, noon

Today is an extra special episode, since we’re celebrating a big milestone. Back in 2016, a male co-host and I started a podcast called “Two Babes Talk Supply Chain.” But over time, things evolved. My co-host left the show, and when I launched the women in supply chain series, I realized there were quite a few people who weren’t too keen on the name…!

So in April 2018 I re-branded the show (within a week, which I still can’t quite believe!). Let’s Talk Supply Chain was born – and I haven’t looked back.

This is the 200th episode, as Let’s Talk Supply Chain, and last month we celebrated our three year anniversary. Wow! The last three years have been filled with opportunities and conversations I could’ve only dreamed of. There have been so many highs and lows; times where I've doubted myself and times where I felt like I could take on the world! And it's safe to say I've learnt a lot about the industry, and myself, along the way.

“I’m proud of myself for persevering; I’m proud of the ideas I’ve taken and run with; I’m proud of myself for not giving up.”

And for the last year, I’ve grown some amazing connections – mostly virtual – and brought together a group of talented, smart and supportive people that have changed my life for the better.

And that group includes the incredible Sarah Scudder, Brian Glick, Alison Cusack, Madison Mobley, Larry Leung, Lisa Fenton, Akshay Dodeja, Angie Reno, Jonathan Kempe and Audrey Ross.

In this episode, you’ll get a sneak peek into the banter, conversations and love that happens on our not-to-be-missed weekly happy hours. We’ve shared ideas, celebrated 40th birthdays, worked together, helped each other through lockdown and spurred each other on to do better, day after day.

Today, they’ll be sharing stories, their favourite memories of me, asking me questions and so much more. So grab your tissues (it gets emotional!) and join my friends and I on this very special trip down memory lane as we celebrate Let’s Talk Supply Chain’s 200th episode.

Sarah x

Sarah is so approachable and engaging; helpful in reaching out and proving support, and a lot of times we don’t see that in a business setting.” Akshay

“Sarah is so welcoming. She’s created a loving group of people; micro and macro pods of inclusivity… where you can show up as yourself.” Alison.

“Sarah has an ability to make people feel seen, and I’m so thankful for that.” Madison
