#70 - Tim Porter
In this week\u2019s episode I sit down with Tim Porter. Tim Porter is a performer, writer, director, and producer. He is also the creator and Artistic Director of Tweed & Company Theatre. In our conversation today we discuss how he was introduced to theatre, his experiences in theatre school and the main lessons he took from his time in school, as well as some of his most positive experiences performing in the industry. We also discuss how Tweed & Company Theatre was created, what he has learned through his experiences with the company, as well as the advice he would give other people in the industry who are looking to start a theatre company. Tim also talks about where he sees theatre in Canada headed in the future, as well as \u201cHastings! A New Musical\u201d which is a new Canadian musical being produced by Tweed & Company Theatre from June 28th to July 7th, 2017.
