James is a Senior Capital Markets Executive with over 25 years of experience in the domestic & international capital markets, in both Investment Banking and Capital Markets Trading roles. His industry experience includes Equity Market Structure, Entrepreneurial Growth Capital focused on Technology (Mobile Messaging), & Non-Bank Financial Services.  

James previously held Senior Executive positions on Independent IIROC Broker Dealer Platforms as well as at CIBC WM Inc, RBC CM and BMO Asset Management (formerly BMO Investment Counsel). James is known for driving top results by building motivated, high performance teams on a foundation of operations infrastructure excellence. 

James is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Odette School of Management (University of Windsor) and the Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto), as well as a CFA charter holder and a FCSI.
