Ah truly Bret Engemann is one of the good guys.\xa0 He was the charming and handsome guy at Timpview High School.\xa0 Athletics ran in his blood.\xa0 After graduating from high school, Bret went on to play football at BYU and also the Raiders.\xa0 But as we started diving deep into this podcast, I discovered a lot of things about my old friend.\xa0 For one, life threw him many, many curve balls.\xa0 Things did not go according to plan.\xa0 Bret had to step into the dark many times in his life.\xa0 And through it all, he learned and grew even more.\xa0 He learned the importance of being nice to EVERYONE.\xa0 He also learned that it's way more important to find joy in the process rather than the outcome.\xa0 We talked about the illusion of control and how our unpredictable future has led to understanding what is really the most important thing in his life.\xa0 We also talked about his short lived career on the Bachelorette and how that led to him being married to his wife.\xa0 These things could never be written in a script.\xa0 Too unbelievable.\xa0 And yet, it's all true.\xa0 Great catching up with my buddy.\xa0 Enjoy!
