Happy Spooky Wednesday, and welcome back to our 3rd annual Urban Legends October! It's "travel week", where we pick another country and cover some of our favorite urban legends from that area! This year we’re traveling to Australia, where deadly creatures both real and legend exist in abundance. First, Kala talks about Drop Bears. This creature is one of the most well-known cryptids of the country. Even if almost everyone knows they’re a myth, it doesn’t stop the locals from using tales of this animal to scare the tourists. And if that’s not enough to scare the tourists, what about the sharks they can find everywhere… even in golf club ponds? And Brittany talks about her favorite kind of cryptids: water monsters! She tells us the tale of the Hawkesbury River Monster (whom we have lovingly named Hawksie). Is this water-dwelling giant a crocodile, a big-ass sea horse, a dinosaur? We don’t know for sure, but we do love to speculate.

For more information about the Duluth Haunted Ship, visit their website: duluthhauntedship.com
