\nHappy Spooky Wednesday, folks! This week we've got some very classic haunted scenarios to share with you. We start with a tale of possession. (If possessions and exorcisms are subjects that make you uncomfortable, skip ahead to 42:30)
\nFirst, Kala talks about the Ammons Haunting AKA The Demon House AKA The 200 Demon House in Gary, IN. When the Ammons family moved into their small, one-story rental, they had no idea what they were in for. Not long after moving in they experienced insect invasions, shadowy figures, mysterious sounds, and apparent possession of four different members\xa0of the family. After consulting with professionals ranging from doctors and police to clairvoyants and priests, the family finally escaped that home. They say they\u2019ve found peace from the demons that plagued them, but some believe\xa0it's a big hoax. Ammons is sticking to her story. And with the details in this tale, we're inclined to believe her. And Brittany tells us all about the Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia, PA. It was once one of the most famous and impressive prisons in the world, but stands today as a collection of crumbling cell blocks and empty guard towers. After housing thousands upon thousands of people over its long history, including Al Capone, the walls echo with those whose souls may have stuck around long after death. In this building, you will find all the classic indicators of a haunted building, including but not limited to: shadowy figures, disembodied voices, and that lovely "something's wrong" feeling that we always hear so much about.\xa0
