lets be real, if macklemore and dropped that gay marriage song like 2 years earlier we would have all unironically been behind it. he just made the mistake of blowing up on the wrong side of the curve. like it would have unironically been a huge momment for a straight guy to release a song about gay marriage in 2010 or so. he would have had hella cred. everybody in seattle talks endless shit about macklemore, despite the fact that they are all exactly like macklemore and youre thinking no Andrew Im not and youre wrong. we are all macklemore, espieclaly the people who think they aren't. the only diffrence between you and macklemore is the fact that he had follow through and got to that haircut before the nazis ruined it for everybody and don't act like if you blew up you wouldn't be corny as hell. the guy blew up in his early 30's, what did you expect for him to keep rapping about thrift stores and cars and shit? no he did a bunch of dumb lame 30 guys i love my kids shit, just like you would have done. and it is stupid he won the grammy over Kendrick Lamar and he knows that. what was he suppose to do? not show up ? like you wouldn't? you think youre better than macklemore, youre not. hes better than you. he put in the work. screw your art. nothing is good enough for you people.
