As a result, Ardern said domestic coronavirus lockdown restrictions would be lifted at midnight on Monday. Experts credit aggressive lockdown restrictions and testing measures as a reason for the country\\u2019s quick turnaround. 22 people in New Zealand have died due to the coronavirus.
