A reference to an African-American Maryland basketball player as having gone "King Kong" in the final minute of a game has led to the suspension of Iowa play by play announcer Gary Dolphin for the rest of the season, and likely ends his career in that position. Rosie points out that there was no racist intent in Dolphin's comments, and points out that hypersensitivity has cost us too many qualified announcers.
