Director Lee Cronin Lee Cronin is an Irish writer and director. His debut feature film The Hole in the Ground (2019) that had it's world premiere at Sundance Film Festival. He is previously well known for the award winning Ghost Train (2013) which won the M\\xe9li\\xe8s d'Argent for Best European Fantastic Short film. Earlier in his career, he wrote and directed the short films Billy & Chuck (2011) and Through the Night (2010)The Hole in the Ground; One night, Sarah's young son disappears into the woods behind their rural home. When he returns, he looks the same, but his behavior grows increasingly disturbing. Sarah begins to believe that the boy who returned may not be her son at all.
