Kerry Mortimer is originally from Ballymena, Co Antrim where she lived prior to immigrating to Canada (Calgary) at the age of 5. She moved to Vancouver after university to work for two years prior to moving to Ottawa where she has lived ever since. Kerry has recently been elected as the first female Chairperson of the Canada GAA. She has been involved in almost all aspects of Gaelic Games in Canada over the past 25 years as a player,youth coach, parent of 2 kids in Gaelic Football youth program and administrator with Club, Divisional and County committees. Previously she has as Canada County Board Treasurer for 4 years from 2018-2022, added PRO responsibilities for 6 months during 2019 when the position was vacated mid-way through the term.
