The Black Donnellys & Kiera Dignam
Kiera Dignam, daughter of the late Aslan frontman Christy Dignam releases her first full length album The new release entitled \u201cNepo Baby\u201d has been a long time in the making for Kiera, who has been on the road with her own band for more than fifteen years. Kiera Dignam\u2019s style is true to her musical roots, having been performing in some capacity since the age of thirteen, and draws on influences from Pop, Rock and Rhythm and Blues. \u201cNepo Baby\u201d is produced by singer/songwriter Don Mescall, who has previous writing credits for Backstreet Boys, Boyzone, Cliff Richard and Geri Halliwell amongst others, as well as Kiera Dignam\u2019s father Christy and Aslan. The album features eight original songs and two covers. Dave Browne of the Black Donnellys felt that a collaboration with Kiera was an opportunity not to be missed. The Black Donnellys have teamed up with Kiera for a show that includes a tribute to Kiera's Dad, Christy. It was scheduled to be performed in Vancouver this week but has had to be postponed unitl early 2024
